The easterly breeze came in very nicely minutes before the start of the race and it made the start line a near perfect condition without any bias to either ends.
Unfortunately, we had to attend to some government officials visit and could not be on water and as such, we could not give a correct account of the race. However, from the feedbacks received, most if not all the boats were pleased with the 6 to 8 knot breeze.
It was also unfortunate that we did not get any participation from the beach cats and the trimaran classes. Hope to have them at the next club race. With four boats in the IRC class, Kurt Metzger in Waka Tere took 1st place and Cedric in Jellico and Lucas in Minx coming at 2nd and 3rd.
Justin in Invictus took line honours and finished 1st in the PY class while Michael in Brio and Basil in Birregurra came in 2nd and 3rd.
