Notice to Boaters
MPA Notice – Enforcement of Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’s (MPA) Port Marine Circular (PMC) No. 16 of 2016
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) will be enforcing PMC-No.-16-of-2016 with effect from Saturday, 1st September 2018.
All yachts departing Singapore waters are required to be registered (flagged). The yachts can be flagged with the Singapore Registry of Ships (SRS) or with other foreign registry such as Langkawi or Cook Islands.
Owners who want to register their yacht(s) with the SRS, following are some of the requirements:
- Yachts must be 17 years old and below
- LOA more than 7 meters
- Yachts must have enclosed deck
- No wooden hull
- Yachts cannot carry more than 12 passengers
- SZH licensed yachts are not allowed to be registered with SRS

Please note that all vessels must seek approval from Sentosa Development Corporation to berth at the Pulau Hantu Besar, Pulau Hantu Kechil, Kusu, St John?s and Pulau Seringat Jetties.
Approval can be sought by emailing to Administrator@sentosa.com.sg with the following information:
(i) Date and time of arrival and departure
(ii) Vessel name / number
(iii) Vessel length
(iv) Vessel carrying capacity
(v) Jetty visit
Approval must be sought at least 7 working days in advance.
