CSC Twilight Series III - Race 5 | Changi Sailing Club

Another year has passed so quickly and this is the last race of Series III and it also marks the end of the Twilight Series for 2025.

Compared to the past few weekends, the fresh breeze coming in from a Northerly direct, made the day for the ten boats that were present. The winds gradual swing from the Northwest to Northeast, throughout the course, probably kept the crews working constantly on their sail trim.

All three trimarans made good use of the breeze to easily complete the race in under 1 hours. After corrected time, Kaze came in 1^st at 00:47:09. Ms V came in 46 secs later at 00:47:55 for a 2^nd and Dot Dot Dot completed her 3^rd placing at 00:56:06. Amazing speed!!

The 6 PY boats and the lone IRCer also performed well with the last boat coming in under 1hr and 17 mins, after corrected time. Amazing performance by all boats. Only 22 secs separated the 1^st & 2^nd positions with Remington taking top spot in 01:06:35, Skybird 2^nd at 01:06: 57 and Fortissimo 8 at 3^rd place in 01:08:12. Special mention for Jong Dee for keeping the flag flying for the IRC class as the lone entry.

This race also makes the end of Series III and also the challenge for the Leader Board.
